Feriehus til leje

Nyrenoveret feriehus "Westmannahuset" beliggende på et lille landsted ved Vesterhavet. Lejligheden ligger ca. 2 km. fra Hanstholm med mulighed for en fisketur til det Gule Rev.  Man kan se på bølgerne, der  med lethed slår ind over de 10 meter høje moler omkring havnen. Kun 7 km. herfra finder du et stort tropisk badeland og dejlige hvide badestrande, hvor der er mulighed for at finde rav. Desuden ligger Nordeuropas bedste windsurferparadis i Klitmøller kun 10 km. væk.

Huset ligger på en stor naturgrund med udsigt over Danmarks første nationalpark "Nationalpark Thy". For folk som kan lide hunde har vi et lille opdræt på 4 Islandske Fårehunde. Lejligheden er oprindeligt det gamle stuehus og ligger i forlængelse, men uafhængigt af hovedbygningen. Huset indeholder brændeovn, badeværelse med badekar, eget køkken, med komfur og køleskab. Foruden stue og soveværelse med 4 sovepladser er der udgang fra køkkenet til egen terrasse i en lukket have. Westmannahuset koster 500 kroner at leje for 1. døgn og 400kr pr. døgn efterfølgende.  2500 kroner for 1 uge.

Cottage for rent

The recently renovated cottage “Westmannahuset” (the house of Westmanna) is situated by the North Sea, right on the edge of the first nationalpark in Denmark: “Nationalpark Thy”, which offers wonderful opportunities for relaxing and/or challenging hikes. Endangered plants and animals natural to the original Danish wildlife have a refuge here – among them rare species of orchids. About 2 km away you will find the village of Hanstholm. From here you can go on fishing excursions to The Yellow Reef or enjoy the spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. Its massive waves easily cross the 10 meter coast protection concrete walls surrounding the harbour. Only 7 km from here you find the luxurious tropical water-land Vigsø Feriecenter, and beautiful white sandy beaches. If you are lucky, you just may find pieces of amber in the sand along the water edge. Look for ‘stones’ that sparkle in the sun shine and sound hollow (like wood) if tapped gently on your teeth. Furthermore, in Klitmøller just 10 km away, you find what is known to be the best windsurfing paradise of Nothern Europe. Fascinating just to watch – if not to join - the surfers defy the lurking dangers of the sea and jump the big waves at daring speed.

Belonging to the house is a huge natural garden from which you have an unspoiled view of - and short walking distance to - the wildlife reserve and the sea.  For people who like dogs we have a small kennel, Westmanna, with 5 Icelandic sheepdogs.

In the house you can enjoy the cosy warmth of a wood burning stove and a bathroom with a bath top. You will have the option of preparing your own meals in a fully equipped kitchen, which has access to a big tile terrace in an enclosed garden. The bedroom has four beds and the living room is equipped with a TV.

Prices range from DKK 500,00 for one night and 400,00 for the next nights. DKK 2500,00 for a week, irrespective of number of guests.
